Dr. Khatavkar has been associated with Lilavati Hospital since 2002. He has an overall experience of 37 years. He has treated more than 10,000 patients in his career. With an illustrious teaching career spanning 30 years he has several achievements under his belt, Dr. Khatavkar has been an under-graduate & post-graduate teacher in many institutions across Maharashtra. He has been appointed as an under-graduate & post-graduate examiner in Maharashtra and across the country through University of Mumbai, Gulbarga, Pune, Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University &M. U. H. S. Nashik. Dr. Khatavkar has guided many students for their research work and papers at a post-graduate level during his teaching career. Dr.Khatavkar has lectured & conducted hands-on courses for general dentists & specialist Endodontists at National & International level. Dr. Khatavkar is proficient in routine root canal procedures performed in single visit as well as re-treatments of failed/ incomplete (poorly treated) root canal procedures under the dental operating microscope. He is also trained in the use of dental lasers for hard & soft tissue treatments.
