Dr. Rahul kumar Chavan is well known cancer surgeon in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai after extensive training in cancer surgery from prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai he completed M.Ch. Super specialization degree in Surgical Oncology (cancer surgery under Homi Bhabha National Institute). With his merit he has completed all his education from popular Government institutes of the country. He completed MBBS from Govt Medical College Dhule & M.S. (General Surgery) - from renowned institute IPGMER (Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research / SSKM Hospital) Kolkata under west Bengal University of Health Sciences. He was awarded 1st prize for poster at ASICON2010 for his work on breast cancer surgery. His areas of interest are Breast cancer, Gynaecological cancer (including ovarian, uterus, and cervical cancer) and colorectal (cancer of colon and rectum). He also treats gastrointestinal cancers (cancer of Stomach, Pancreas, Gall bladder, Liver, colorectal) .
